The bedroom

In the past, the height of a bed used to be higher than the present. There are in fact two reasons. First, the farther away you are from the floor, the less likely you would be affected by the humidity from the ground. Second, germs and bateria usually stay up to 2 or 3 feet above the ground, sleeping lower than the height would easily get ill.

Never ignore the importance of the shape of a bed head. Some people may like the modern circular shape or triangular shape. However, in fact, what is good is to have the bed head in traditional shapes such as square or semi-circle shapes because these shapes would reduce the chances of the host being ill.

Clocks are necessary to every home and they are usually hung in dining rooms or sitting rooms. Some people like having a clock in their bedroom. However, you have to note that the clock must not be hung above the bed head or at the end of of a bed. A clock hung at either end resembles a cemetery and it definitely means bad luck to the person sleeping there. So if you msut have a clock in the bedroom, you should do so anywhere except at the head and end of the bed. It is the same in a studying room. Putting a clock above the studying desk is a taboo.

In the bedroom, it is important to avoid having a beam above the bed. The consequence of having the above would be bad luck for at least 3 years. Solution can be as simple as moving the bed to somewhere not under the beam. Alternatively, a artificial ceiling or the five-king old coins can be used to hang at both ends o the beam. It is the same if there is a lamp above the bed. Solution is to remove eithr the bed or the lamp so as to resolve the bad luck.

What about a TV in the bedroom? More and more people nowadays enjoy watching TV before sleep. However, it is know that the radioactive waves are harmful to human health. From a Feng Shui Perspective, a TV in front or behing a bed resembles a tomb. The person sleeping in it resembles a person burying in a tomb, which means bad luck. In this case, the only method is to place the TV on either side of the bed. Of course, tje further away the TV the better it will be to health.

It is almost a must that every main bedroom has a make-up table. Do you know where it should be placed? The first is that the make-up mirror should not be placed facing the door. Otherwise, people walking into the bedroom would be scared. Secondly, the mirror should not be facing the bed. Otherwise, people of the bedroom would have nightmares or be dispirited.
