The Outside

It is always necessary to have a balance between yin and yang. Therefore, the number of windows which are where sinlight comes in needs to be controlled. Too many or too few of them will lead to an imbalance between yin and yang. Also, since some windows may face the good direction and some may face the bad direction and this will lead to a confusing mix of both good and bad luck. Therefore, if you find that there is too strong light, curtains should be drawn; if you find that it is stuffy, wondpws should the open and vice versa in order to get a balance.

What about if the house receives spotlight from cars? People living in the house will always get ill and the situation will get worse. There are two ways to solve the problem. Either you can use a think curtain at the window where it faces the light and draw the curtain at night, or you can put a Ba Gua but without a mirror in it outside the window because a Ba Gua with a mirror may cause danger to the drivers.

It is also important to have something appropriate in front of the house. What it means by the front of a house is the side with the most windows since it allows the maximun sunlight to penetrate. If in front of the house is a pond, a swimming pool, a garden, a parking lot, a lake or sea, then it would be good to the luck of a house.

What if in front of a house is chimneys? They are usually bad to the luck of the people living inside the house. Solution would be to put a convex mirror on the window facing out so that it can reflect away the bad luck coming towards the house.
