Lemon Chicken

Serve with rice or noodles
Ingredients - optional suggestions
1 chicken
1 lemon sliced and skinned
mushroom slices
green peas
garlic
white wine
ginger
pepper
sesame oil
1 onion
white sugar
cooking oil
salt
cooking wine
cornflour
chicken stock
Cooking method
1 - Wash chicken and dry. Mix white wine, minced garlic and salt in a bowl with some water. Cover the chicken with the sauce for 30 minutes.
2 - Heat a wok of oil and put some sliced onions and ginger in. Add in cooking wine, chicken soup, oil, sesame oil, half of the lemon, salt, sugar, pepper and cook to boil. When boiling, put in chicken.
3 - When chicken is cooked, remove it from the wok. Remove bones from chicken and cut meat into pieces. Keep the soup for later use.
4 - Put another half of lemon, mushroom slices and green peas in a bowl.
5 - Pour soup, mushroom slices, lemon slices, green peas and a little oil in a pot and wait to boil. When boiling, add in cornflour liquid to make sauce. Pour sauce on the chicken. Serve.
Cooking tips
To make the cornflour liquid, put a few spoonfuls of cornflour in a bowl then add in some cold water.
