Deep fried sesame balls

Delicious as a snack or accompaniment
Ingredients
Plain Flour 300g
Granulated sugar 150g
Baking powder 2tsp
Oil 2tbsp
Water 1/3cup
White sesame 1/2cup
Cooking method
1 - Sieve plain flour and baking powder. Add granulated sugar, oil and water and knead into dough. Leave to ferment for about 1/2 hour.
2 - Knead dough into long strips and cut into small dice. Roll the dice into balls. Sprinkle with a little amount of water and coat with white sesame.
3 - Deep fry in warm oil over low heat until balls crack and become golden brown. Remove and drain. Leave to cool and store in air-tight container.
Cooking tips
Warm oil must be used for deep frying so that they will crack and be crispy.
