Three Cups Chicken
Serving suggestion
The name of the dish refers literally to the three main seasoning in the dish; sesame oil, wine and soya sauce.
Ingredients - optional suggestions
Half Chicken
Sesame oil 1/2cup
Green onion cut short 2 stalks
Garlic crushed 4pieces
Ginger few slices
Seasoning:
Dark soya sauce 5tbsp
Light soya sauce 2tbsp
Wine 1/2cup
Sugar 2tsp
Cooking method
1 - Rinse chicken under clean water and pat dry. Cut into small pieces. Cook for a few minutes in boiling water then remove from the water.
2 - Heat sesame oil, fry ginger, green onions and garlic. Then add in chicken pieces and stir well. Add in seasoning and stir fry until well combines.
3 - cover up and turn to medium heat and cook until sauce thickens.
Cooking tips
This dish tastes better if cooked in a clay pot.
